For those who prefer working out at home, there is a Swedish option that has already gained a foothold across the Atlantic. NÜOBELL is an adjustable dumbbell from the Swedish company NÜO Athletics, designed for home gyms where workout equipment can also serve as a stylish interior design element.
It features a minimalist aesthetic, a metal finish, and a choice of colors. A simple twist of the handle adjusts the weight in seconds, allowing a single set to replace up to 40 traditional dumbbells. The product was designed by engineer Tomas Svenberg, a former member of the Swedish national rowing team. The idea stemmed from a practical problem: he wanted to work out more at home but lacked the space for a full set of dumbbells.
Since then, over 500,000 Nüobell dumbbells have been sold, primarily in North America.
Now, the Swedish family-owned company is setting its sights on Sweden and Japan as well.
