I spent 20 hours of research on adjustable dumbbells. I am extremely happy with the Nuobells. Its a quality product that feels like a conventional dumbbell. Its very compact and its a quality product. Also, they are made in Sweden, and the quality and craftsman ship is obvious when compared to cheaper products. This is also a very attractive dumbbell and looks great in my living room when not in use.

At the time I ordered this, I was at a quandary whether to get the 80 pounds or not. I am no where strong enough to lift dumbbells over 50 pounds, and since I bought it, I discovered it is now up-gradable to 80 pounds, as there is a kit to expand from Nuobell. This option was not readily apparent to me at first and perhaps this is a new feature that one can expand. Its doubtful that I will ever have to expand, but its very comforting to know that it is expandable.

Like many adjustable dumbbells, these cannot be dropped,. But given that I work out in my living room, there is no way I would drop them onto my hardwood floor, so this is not a problem for me.

Great job Nuobell for making one of the best adjustable dumbbell on the market. I highly recommend this product and assure others that you will be more than satisfied.
