NÜOBELL 580 Silver

These dumbbells feel like the ones I used to use at the gym I went to. I now workout at home and have been using an incomplete set of hexagon type dumbbells. After looking at how much it would cost to buy the dumbbells I was missing I started looking for adjustable dumbbells. I came across several different adjustable dumbbell sets on Amazon before I found the NUO dumbbells. The price was a little shocking compared to the others, but I liked the way the functionality was described. I ordered the 80 pound set off of the NUO website (They offered a discount) and the rack. Once I received them and set them up I LOVED THEM. I would have paid more. That's how much I like them. They seem to be well made. Being able to adjust with a twist of the handle is genius. The fact it only takes the weight selected keeping the length minimal is also genius. The only thing that takes a little getting used to is not touching/hitting them together at the top of a dumbbell bench press. About the rack..... It's expensive for what it is and how its made, but none the less I highly recommend getting it. I normally would give a 4 star review because of the rack, but the dumbbells themselves deserve 5 stars. My only regret is that I didn't get a larger set.

After the first week my initial opinion is positive. Easy to adjust weights, comfortable grip and I especially like when at a lower weight it only picks up what is needed and doesn't remain as large as when all weights are needed. After only a week I can't say anything to durability as I haven't put in enough use yet, but first thoughts are positive.

These adjustable dumbbells are solid. I upgraded from the Bowflex 552 and the difference is night and day. The build quality is great and switching weight is a breeze. The knurling pattern is similar to traditional dumbbells with a great feel. My only gripe (and it’s a small one) is that when re-racking the dumbbell you need to be careful to set it down evenly.

good product, easy to use for those days when a trip to the gym just isn't in the schedule. Sturdy, easy to flip between weights, the handle doesn't stick out past the weight you are using which makes a flat surface on the ends which certainly help
